It’s highly recommended that you find a builder who is experienced and skilled enough to get the job done. Not only will this save you from all the stress and hassle of overseeing the construction project, but it will also make sure that the process is done smoothly and correctly. Hiring a legitimate builder can assure you that your property is compliant with building industry codes and is safe and stable. 

It depends on the size of your property, amount of personalisation, availability of the supplies and environment. In general, a custom-made property can be done in around nine months, while a production-built one can be completed in seven months. Make sure to talk to your Tasker about this and consider every factor that could affect the timeline of your construction project. 

Not necessarily. Your Tasker is equipped with professional tools like hammers and nails, screws, saws, screwdrivers and many others. But if you have these tools on hand and prefer to use them, you can have that arranged with your Tasker. Simply inform them beforehand, so your Tasker knows which ones to bring.

You should look for their accreditations, licences and certifications. They should have a solid experience and portfolio as a builder, with an excellent success rate. Pay attention to the team the builder has. Each member should be experienced and well-coordinated. Make sure that they use high-quality materials and have top-notch workmanship. Ultimately, they should be able to meet your needs and preferences as a client.

It would be preferable if you already have a solid idea of what your property is for and what it would look like. But if you don’t, that’s okay. Before starting your construction project, your Tasker can guide you as you create and conceptualise your plan. They can show you pegs and inspirations, and from there, you would probably be able to come up with a concrete idea for your property. 

It depends on your contract with your Tasker. But feel free to tell your Tasker anytime if you feel like you want to change, modify, alter or add something in terms of your property’s design. You and your Tasker may sit on it and discuss it before implementing the alterations. Always remember that before proceeding, the alterations should always be approved by both you and your Tasker.
