We have an old failing Miele DA-3190 rangehood. It sometimes turns off with a loud click shortly after turning on, or when changing fan speeds, this seems to be the relays in the controller. After a few seconds it tries again and eventually works. Have tried cleaning grease from the fan and replacing the motor start capacitor. Guessing it is more complicated/expensive to fix (controller board or switch which is not easily accessed), willing to try a cheap repair but it's probably more worth replacing due to 15+ years age. If replacing, we are open to suggestions for cheaper brands or can source our own unit (90cm slide or fixed). Due to the shape of the Miele unit, the cabinet may need to be replaced or a shelf put in to hang from, and the power point moved up out of the way. I can do the removal as we'll need to do a deep clean anyway but we'll need to decide first what we are replacing it with. Foil ducting exists (120mm, taped to the Miele). huge noise when running since the first day

My 4 years fridge (the lower part, not the above part freezer) is not cold enough even on the coldest mode but the freezer is working fine. The model number is RT32K5035SL/SA.

We have an Electrolux EWF14742 that is no longer taking the softener from the drawer during a wash. I have performed all the cleaning I can do and followed all the 'how to' guides I can find but when a wash completes the softener is still there.
