I have some used carpet and underlay that I need laid in a sunken room, 3.7m x 6.6m, the step around the outside is approx 32cm both up and deep, all concrete. The room will be empty, and existing carpet will be removed

Work is in one bedroom measuring 4m X 3m. We've taken the old carpet up today and will have all the nail's and staples removed, but the glue is proving hard to shift. Most of the boards are untouched but there's old varnish around the edges so the colour is uneven. We're looking for glue removal and a basic sand. We'll sort out staining it at a later date. Time frame is flexible but would prefer early this week if possible. We'll have all the furniture removed.
