About 30cm all around the pool edge (on the water side) the pool has concrete around it and those tiles are glued, the remaining tiles are on a sand base. This is likely adding to the unevenness (some tiles resting on concrete, others on sand and some on both!). The surrounding around the pool perimeter is about 130cm.
