So my partners car, 188K on the clock, 2013 model, just purchased it for $5K, all checks were fine, just registered, looks well looked after, 2 weeks later, just had the transmission go bad, reverse not working at all. Driving forward it will over rev before clonking into place, some have said it may just be low transmission fluid… but I think we need to find a 2nd hand transmission and swap it out, looking for a good deal… we’re in west pymble, we can likely drive it to you but yea for the diagnosis there is some preference to keep it from being driven and causing something else to be damaged

Repair leaking power steering hose, high pressure line leaking where metal line meets flexible hose near the pump. It is the high pressure line. Change power steering fluid to ensure correct type. Car 2008 Volvo XC90 D5 Car currently not being driven to avoid leakage and avoid system running dry. Note shows the location of the leak, this was after I cleaned uo the oil which was spurting out the hose when turning the steering.
