We have a picket fence that needs repair or to be replaced. The posts and cross beams appear to be rotten but the pickets can likely be reused.

Hi there, REPOSTING this - looking urgently (next 1-2 weeks max) for a wooden picket fence (1.2m high) for front of property. Details are as follows: 1) Width of property 25m (included in this is a driveway gate (2 gates) need for a 3.7m driveway width (jsut wooden picket gates not automatic) and one pedestrian gate of 900mm wide 2) We need a small 1.5m return on left hand side of property. So total Linear metres is about 27m for the entier fence including gates. 3) Picket size is 900mm high. Pickets are to be flat top and 70mm wide. Gap between pickets to be 35mm to 45mm. 4) We want to have featured posts (maybe 100-120mm wide) breaking up the fence (as its quite long - see photo as an example of style we are looking for.) 5) We are looking at wooden pickets. Ideally pre primed. 6) We also want the fence painted 7) Contractor needs to be licenced 8) Please quote for materials too 9) Probably a 2-4 day job depending on how many working on it. 10) Land is flat Keen to get this done within 2 weeks. Needs to look really good to show off the character of the home

We’re needing to install a new PVC picket fence out the front of our house to replace an old colourbond fence. All materials will be supplied. The fence is a 1.2m pvc picket fence which comes in a kit with everything needed. The frontage for the fence is around 15m across. We are mid-way through a build on a picket fence, but life has got in the way and need help finishing the job. I have most of the posts and rails up, but looking for a skilled labourer to come complete the build. A few more posts and rails need to go in, as well as a lot of pickets to nail in. The advertised fee is for an 8hr day of work. We have all the tools and materials required, however it wouldn't hurt if you had your own tools as well. Looking for someone capable, experienced and hardworking, with basic building and landscaping skills. There are other jobs that need doing around our place in the next few months, so this will almost certainly turn into ongoing work on other building and landscaping jobs for the right person.

We have a opening in our fence which need to be fenced. It is circa 2m wide and 1.8m high. We would like a timber lap wood panel that can be screwed into the support posts so that it is semi permanent. We need a carpenter with their own tools and experience to do this job it should be a day or so of work. The carpenter should source the timber for the job.

We have materials just require assistance in constructing the Pickett fence (rest will be chicken wire to enclose area for chickens). We will need help digging holes for fence posts but will require someone with their own tools (ideally nail gun and saw if possible? ) Length of fence approx 2.7m

Pedestrian Gate has had the last picket snapped off and now the gate is sagging. Picket needs to be replaced. - Due date: Before Friday, 26 January 2024

New timber picket fence 1400mm high approximately 15.5m long (including gates). Exposed posts pyramid head. Plinths, archboards, rails and capping in treated pine. 1No. Tulip motif board in every panel. Indented splayed pedestrian gate (1m wide) half way along and automatic single car (3.2m wide) sliding gate (in the same style but steel frame) at driveway. Screw fixings throughout. Concreting of posts to be included and preserved with waterproofing. Gate hardware to be included automatic gate motor can be excluded if easier. Painting excluded. Last five (5) photos included are indicative of what I’m after. First three (3) are the old gate which is getting removed and all scrub cleared by the end of this week. - Due date: Flexible

We have an existing picket fence that is in decent condition but some posts are wobbly. Will need reinforcement/resetting of the posts and or replacement of bottom plinths. Will require on site inspection for further clarification/estimation.
