We have two wooden garden gates to install out our property that requires the skill of a carpenter or an experienced handy man. Below are photos of the gates and the places to hang them. The gates are not the same size as the area in which they are to be fitted and will require posts. Gate#1 - gap = 1.33m and the gate is 900mm. Gate#2 - gap = 1.12m and the gate is 1000mm.

Replace 2 damaged wooden picket fence posts. One 1.4m, the other 0.8 m tall from the ground, in concrete bases.

I need a side gate installed. I have the new gate (height needs to be cut down to size) and new pillar needs to be attached/bolted to wall. The new post which need to be attached to fence as well as the lock/latch attached/secured to gate and post. Old gate and post will be removed beforehand. Please provide your price. Thankyou

We have a opening in our fence which need to be fenced. It is circa 2m wide and 1.8m high. We would like a timber lap wood panel that can be screwed into the support posts so that it is semi permanent. We need a carpenter with their own tools and experience to do this job it should be a day or so of work. The carpenter should source the timber for the job.

Hi, I am wanting a wooden picket fence built on my retaining wall with an electric sliding gate across the driveway. The retaining wall is approx 11m long and gate will is approx 6m. Fence height to be .9m and gate 1.2 as the driveway is approx .3m lower than retaining wall. We do want these to sit level with each other. We are also hoping for the gate to have some kind of pedestrian access gate built into the main gate. I have a white picket fence at the front of my house. Unfortunately there’s two issues with it: 1. Three of the posts have rotted out at the ground surface (including the two on either side of the gate); and 2. I think the gate we have is made of hardwood and is very heavy, which has caused the post bearing the weight to split. Subject to your thoughts, the rest of the fence is still in good nick (though needs a paint!). Looking for someone to 1. Replace the posts, which could either be new posts or stirrups or similar; and 2. Options for a lighter gate (eg pine or something) to avoid this happening in the future. Can increase budget to cover materials/ requirements!
