Photos of current kitchen and rough floor area attached. Second image is old floor. Current linoleum tiles are peeling and coming loose. Install a retractable baby gate. I think one wall doesn’t have a stud so not sure what solutions there are to reenforce the wall to ensure baby gate would be safe is pushed against.

Remove skirting without damaging wall as new fridge is coming that needs a touch more space. I have spare flooring to cover where skirting was. I have some skirting for the front should that be needed. Should it require an adjustment aesthetically. 3-5 pieces require moving. I could remove them myself. However. Require someone who can and leave walls/gyprock intact.
