This task is for onsite attendance, discussion of options and a quote - not for doing the work of installing the doors. I am looking only for people skilled and experienced with wardrobes and, in particular, wardrobe doors. I am looking to put sliding doors onto my existing built-in/walk-in wardrobe. (Whilst I understand that polyurethane painted doors would be the highest quality (and generally the most expensive) option, I would also consider other suitable materials.) To give you an idea of the existing situation, I have attached a few photographs of the existing wardrobe in question. The wardrobe is quite sturdy and I would not replace it, but I am looking to put sliding (or hinged) doors on it. As the space is at a premium, and for functional reasons, I am not looking to put the sliding doors on the floor in front of the wardrobe but rather on the platform above the drawers (which platform is quite sturdy and can hold a lot of weight, as tested over the years). There is currently nothing that could act as a base for the top track, so that would need to be put in, perhaps by putting another top panel/board, on top of the existing top panel, but obviously wider, that is, deeper, than the existing top panel, to attach the top track to. The approximate dimensions of the wardrobe are W 238cm x H 200cm (height from the platform above drawers to top of the wardrobe, not ceiling, but I would also consider options for dealing with the space between the top of the wardrobe and the ceiling). As this task is not something that I think I should be experimenting with by myself, I would like to find someone to help me with it, by doing the professional part of the work. If you are interested and skilled in this and able to attend to see the wardrobe in person, take measurements, discuss potential options and provide a quote for the job, I look forward to receiving reasonable offers. I'm looking for a carpenter/handyman to help us fix/sand/match varnish on our interior staircase. For context, we have a 30yo wooden staircase across 3 levels in our Inner West terrace house. The previous owners decided to stick plywood and tin tiles across all the balustrades. We've hired a glass company to remove all of it and replace it with custom glass panels. However, between the balustrade removal and installation of glass, we need a carpenter to come fix the strings so the top of the strings (where the glue was) gets fixed, sanded, and varnished (the varnish should match the rest of the stairs). If you have the skills, we're also looking for someone to remove some skirting boards and replaster a small area. Our timeline is 1st or 2nd week of March. It's quite a small job, but we're hoping to work with a trusted carpenter to achieve the best results. - Due date: Flexible

We want to have a curved outdoor bench seat built with a seat that lifts to provide storage. A raised bench will join onto the seat in the corner to sit the bbq and pizza oven. It is proposed - for the front to be bricks following the curved profile of the pavers the seat to be timber - a concrete floor to be poured to keep the storage clean - the box to be ‘ weather proof’ No materials will be provided.
